The six packages and their prices
Every package on the rafting packages from Side page is built around the same rafting: 12 kilometres of the Köprüçay in Köprülü Canyon National Park, a guide in the boat, briefing and practice session. What differs is the second – or third – activity, and with it the price. Children aged 4 to 11 pay the child fare on every one.
- Rafting alone: €18 (child €12)
- Rafting & Zipline: €25 (child €15) – flight of 400 m or more across the canyon
- Rafting & Jeep Safari: €28 (child €17) – transfer with jeeps, swimming stops and cliff jumping
- Rafting & Quad Safari: €30 (child €18) – 40 minutes driving yourself
- Rafting & Buggy Safari: €35 (child €21) – 40 minutes driving yourself, seat and steering wheel
- Rafting, Zipline & Quad: €38 (child €23)
- Rafting, Zipline & Buggy: €38 (child €23)
What is the same in every package
Round-trip hotel transfer, a trained guide in every raft, helmet, life jacket and paddle, accident and activity insurance and lunch by the river are inside every package price – exactly as on the rafting-only tour. Drinks are always extra, as are water-shoe hire, photos and video.
Pickup is the same everywhere too: generally at around 08:00 to 08:30, with the exact time confirmed after booking. Every package is paid on the day of the tour, and nothing is charged online. So the difference between the packages is not in the surroundings but solely in what else you do at the canyon.
Question one: do you want to drive?
If yes, it comes down to quad or buggy. Both run for 40 minutes on a closed off-road track, with a briefing, a practice drive, a helmet and an instructor – no driving licence is needed, and anyone who would rather not steer rides along as a passenger. The difference is the vehicle: on the quad you sit at the handlebars, in the buggy you are strapped into a seat with a steering wheel. The buggy costs €35, the quad €30.
If no, the jeep safari at €28 is the alternative with a drive but no steering: the transfer runs with jeeps, and on the river swimming stops and cliff jumping are part of the flow. A driver drives; you sit.
Question two: do you want height?
The zipline is, at €25, the best-priced package and the only one that shows you the canyon from above – a flight of 400 metres or more. Its biggest advantage is that it is optional: anyone who reaches the platform and would rather not fly waits by the river, pays nothing extra, and the package price stays the same. For a group in which not everyone is equally brave, that is the booking with the least to lose.
Question three: how long should the day be?
The two three-activity packages – Rafting, Zipline & Quad and Rafting, Zipline & Buggy – both cost €38 and put flight and drive into the same day. They are the choice if you will only go to the canyon once and want to leave nothing out.
Allow for a longer day at the base in return: the activities run in the order the base is working, there is waiting time in between, and the return tends to sit towards the later end of the roughly 16:30 to 18:30 window.
Our recommendation by type of traveller
The list is no substitute for a conversation – message us on WhatsApp if your group does not fit into it.
- First rafting day, small budget: rafting alone at €18
- Family with children aged 4 and up, mixed courage: zipline – anyone who does not fly pays nothing extra
- You want a drive but nobody wants to steer: jeep safari
- You want to be at the controls yourself: quad, or buggy for the seat and steering wheel
- One single day at the canyon, nothing left out: Zipline & Quad or Zipline & Buggy
Packages we do not sell
Other combinations exist at the canyon, such as the jeep safari together with quad, buggy or zipline, and packages with four activities. They are not on the packages page because we have no confirmed price for any of them. We would rather show you nothing than a number we made up. If you want one of those combinations, message us and we will get you a real quote.
