The price in one sentence
Rafting from Side costs €18 per person, and children aged 4 to 11 pay €12. That is the whole price: no booking fee, no surcharge for your part of the resort, no paying again at the base for helmet, life jacket, paddle or lunch. A wetsuit is the exception: it is optional, and you can hire one at the base for an extra fee. You pay on the day, in cash or by card, and nothing is charged when you book.
Side is our main hub, and €18 is the fare for the departure from Side. Belek, Antalya and Alanya each carry a fare of their own; we publish the list exactly as it stands, and it is further down this page.
What the €18 covers
So that the number can be compared, here is everything the price includes. None of it is sold to you again at the base.
- Round-trip transfer from your hotel in Side and the surrounding resorts, in an air-conditioned vehicle
- The national park entrance fees for the 12-kilometre route
- 12 kilometres of guided white-water rafting on the Köprüçay
- A professional guide in every raft — not one per group
- Safety briefing and practice session on calm water
- Helmet, life jacket and paddle, fitted at the base
- Accident and activity insurance
- Home-style lunch at the restaurant on the riverbank
The combo packages from Side and their prices
If you want more than the river, you book a package. The rafting stays the same route with the same inclusions in every package; what is added is a second or third activity on the same day. Every price is per person, with the child fare for ages 4 to 11 in brackets.
- Rafting + Zipline: €25 (child €15) — a flight of 400 metres and more across the canyon; anyone who prefers not to fly waits by the river, at no extra cost and with no change to the price
- Rafting + Jeep Safari: €28 (child €17) — the transfer runs with jeeps, and swimming breaks are part of the day
- Rafting + Quad Safari: €30 (child €18) — 40 minutes driving yourself through the forest, or riding as a passenger
- Rafting + Buggy Safari: €35 (child €21) — 40 minutes of buggy on the off-road track
- Rafting + Zipline + Quad: €38 (child €23) — three activities in one day
- Rafting + Zipline + Buggy: €38 (child €23) — three activities in one day
Rafting from other resorts: Belek, Antalya, Alanya
Same canyon, different departure, its own fare — we publish it as it stands in that tour record. Rafting from Belek costs €25 per person, children aged 7 to 11 pay €15. Rafting from Antalya costs €23, children aged 7 to 11 €14, and infants up to 3 come along free at the riverside. Rafting from Alanya costs €20, children aged 7 to 11 €12, infants up to 3 free.
Note that on these three departures the minimum age for rafting is 7, whereas the tour from Side takes children from the age of 4. Always book the departure for the resort where you are actually staying — the transfer is built around it.
What is not in the price
Six things cost extra, and none of them is compulsory: all drinks — at lunch and through the day — water shoes to rent or buy if you have none of your own, a wetsuit to hire at the base if you want one, professional photos and video of your run, personal spending, and on the combo tours a bandana for the dusty track.
The prices for these extras are set by the operator at the base, and we do not print them here — no figure is better than a wrong one. Some cash for a drink with lunch is sensible; everything else you decide on site.
Payment and cancellation
You pay on the day of the tour on site, in cash or by card. This site never asks for card details and nothing is charged when you book — you reserve, we confirm, you pay once you have been collected. Cancellation terms for the Side departures are confirmed together with your booking, in writing and before the day.
The price you see on the rafting from Side page is the price you pay. Every package with its child fare is on the Side rafting packages page.
